Joyfully Ring Douglas Benton This is a wonderful piece! I can’t wait to work on it with all of
you!
Tempo 120 dynamics as marked.
M9 dynamic contrast
M23 Look up for rit.

One Foundation arr. Matthew Compton The syncopation in this is fun to play and a lovely
arrangement of both hymns.
I like it a little faster Tempo 95 Dynamics as marked.
The syncopated LVs should be present and flow throughout the piece.
M14 (pick up) bring out the melody
M33 (pick up) bring out melody on chimes
M41-44 lots of the echo on beat 2&
Big FF at 57 & 68.

Christ the Lord is Risen Today arr. Jason Krug
Tempo 100, dynamics as marked.
M3 LV eighth notes.
M36 keep piano but bring out chimes.
M52 small accel and continue crescendo to 55
M79 small rit. Brush damp to crescendo to the end.

Wild Mountain Thyme arr. Sandra Eithun This is a stunning arrangement.
Tempos and dynamics as marked.
Pay careful attention to the LV’s and the R’s throughout the piece.
Lots of dynamics in this one.
M15 Eb6 is not tied. To me the notation is small and it is easy to miss. The lyrics are Will ye go,
Lassie, go?
M18 bring out stem down treble clef quarter notes.
Rit is good at 48 and slightly slower at 49
Watch caesura at 70, I’ll give a prep beat for the pickup.
